Privacy Policy

YouTubeOnLoop (“we”, “the app”) is operated by T31K. This page explains what data the app collects, how it's used, and your rights. We try to collect as little as possible.

What we collect

If you don't sign in

Your playlists, folders, language, volume, watch history, and preferences are stored in your browser's localStorage on your device. They never leave your browser. We do not have access to them.

If you sign in with Google

We receive from Google OAuth:

• Your Google account email
• Your Google display name and profile picture
• A unique Google account ID

We use this only to create your account and sync your playlists, folders, and history across your devices. We never post on your behalf, access your Google Drive, Gmail, or any other Google service.

Analytics

We use Umami (self-hosted) for privacy-friendly analytics. Umami does not use cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not collect personal data. It records anonymous page views, referrers, and browser/country at an aggregate level.

YouTube embed

When you play a video, it streams via YouTube's embed player. YouTube (owned by Google) may set its own cookies and collect data per Google's privacy policy. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed mode where available.

How we use it

• To display your playlists, folders, and watch history.
• To sync your data across devices when you're signed in.
• To understand aggregate usage (Umami) so we can improve the app.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to train AI.

Third parties

• Google OAuth — sign-in (only if you choose to sign in).
• YouTube embed player — video playback.
• Umami (self-hosted) — anonymous analytics.
• Vercel — hosting and content delivery.

Your rights

Under GDPR and CCPA you have the right to access, export, correct, and delete your data.

• Guest data: clear your browser's localStorage for this site in your browser settings, or click “Clear data” in the app settings.
• Signed-in data: email contact@youtubeonloop.com from the address linked to your account, and we'll delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.

Cookies

YouTubeOnLoop does not set its own tracking cookies. We use localStorage (not cookies) for preferences and guest data, and an HTTP-only session cookie for signed-in users. YouTube's embed player may set its own cookies when you play a video.

Children

YouTubeOnLoop is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have, email contact@youtubeonloop.com and we'll delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top and notify signed-in users by email. For questions, contact contact@youtubeonloop.com.
